A03 - 4-Digit Security Combination Lock
To set your personal combination:

1. The notebook lock comes preset with the combination: 0-0-0-0
2. Make sure the lock is set to the above numbers.
3. On the flat side of the lock, opposite the round locking mechanism, you will find a recessed button.
4. With the original combination code keyed in, use a pencil or pen to push in the recessed button.
5. While the button is pushed in, turn the number dials to set your personal combination.
6. Release the recessed button once you have set your numbers.
7. Now your combination code is set.
8. To change your combination numbers, repeat steps 1-7.

To use the lock:

1. Check your laptop/notebook's manual to find the k-slot on your laptop (your manual may refer to it as a Kensington Slot).
2. Secure the cable around a fixed or heavy object, for example a heavy table or piece of furniture.
3. Be sure to put the locking mechanism through the loop on the end of the cable before locking into place.
4. Set the lock to your personal combination code.
5. Hold down the button on top of the lock to insert into the k-slot.
6. Once lock is in place, release the button and scramble the number dials to ensure best results.
7. To remove the lock, turn the dials to your personal combination code.
8. Fully push down button on top to remove the lock from the k-slot.
