Installing EasyCAP
Note: If you have any antivirus software running, please disable it during the installation of the software. Follow the instructions in the order they are given!
1. Driver Installation
Insert the Software CD into your computer's CD drive. If the CD does not load automatically, go to Start -> Run, and type the letter of your CD drive followed by a colon (ex: D:). Click OK to run the CD. In the Wizard that opens, select the option "Install Driver".
If prompted, select "No, not this time" and click "Next". Select the option "Install the software automatically" and click "Next". A window may appear about the Syntek STK1150 not passing Windows logo testing (unsigned drivers), select "Continue anyway". After the driver is installed, click the "Finish" button.
Note: If any further components are found, please repeat the process until you receive the message "Found new hardware: Your hardware is installed and configured to use". Remove the CD from the drive.
2. Hardware Installation
Check that the drivers are installed correctly. Connect the EasyCAP USB Video Adapter w/ Audio to your computer. Next, click Start, Right-click My Computer, and Left-click Properties. Click on the Hardware tab, then click Device Manager. In Device Manager, click on +Imaging Devices. You should see "Syntek STK1150". If it has a yellow exclamation point next to it, then the drivers are not installed correctly. In that case, uninstall the drivers and disconnect the EasyCAP from the computer. Repeat the driver installation process above, then reconnect the EasyCAP. (Uninstall drivers by going to Start -> Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs. When the list of programs appears, find the driver and click "Remove".)
3. Software Installation
