System Requirements
Microsoft Windows XP and Vista Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon Processor or higher 100 MB free hard disk space and 512 MB or more of RAM 16 bit color display adapter
Installation
1. Connect the USB cable from the Microscope to the USB port of your computer. Wait a few moments for your computer to detect the hardware. Once complete, you will see a pop-up in the corner identifying that an object was found.
2. Insert the disc to install the Driver. Double-click on the icon to install. Then follow installation instructions. 
NOTE: You may get an on-screen prompt saying that the software is not compatible with Windows XP. However, this product has been carefully and personally tested by HDE and is found to be compatible with the recommended System requirements. Please click "Continue anyway".)
3. After installation is complete, you will see the icon for the Digital Microscope in your taskbar.
4. Go to Start/All Programs/USB Digital Microscope/AMCap. This will open the program and in a moment you should see what the Microscope is capturing. If you do not see any image, try clicking "Options" in the menu bar and then checking "Preview".
NOTE: It is recommended that you use the stand provided with your Microscope, as this will reduce vibrations and hand movements to steady the image.
5. On the Microscope itself are 4 LED lights that have 3 levels of brightness. You can adjust this by moving the switch on the side of the microscope between the 3 positions.
6. You can change image options under "Options," then "Video Capture Filter" or "Video Capture Pin".
7. To take a snapshot, push the red SNAPSHOT BUTTON on the side of the Microscope. To record a video, click "Capture" and then "Start Capture" in the menu bar of the image screen. You will be prompted to save the AVI file. To stop recording, click "Capture" and then "Stop Capture".
There is also a shortcut to some of the options if you right-click on the icon in the taskbar.
NOTE: Please set the Frame rate to 30 fps before taking a photo.
This Microscope is a delicate piece of equipment. Please handle it with care.
Always use a dry cloth to wipe the device when necessary.
If the lens gets dirty, clean it with a lens brush or a soft cloth moistened with a little neutral detergent. Be careful not to scratch the surface of the lens.
Always replace the lens cap to avoid dust and moisture from building on the lens when not in use.
