M11 - USB Thermometer
- Insert CD. Depending on your computer's settings, it may open automatically or it may have to be opened manually. (If your package is missing the CD or if it is damaged, you can download the software from the link above. Be sure to unzip the file.)
- Double-click the folder called USB Driver. Double click the item called Setup.exe. Click 'Run' if you get a window warning you about Unknown Publishers.
- Next, plug the USB Thermometer into the female end of the included USB cable, and then plug the cable into an available USB port on your computer.
- The Found New Hardware wizard will start after the computer detects the USB Thermometer. Follow the instructions to install. (When it prompts you to "allow Windows to search" you can click "No, not this time". At the next prompt, choose "install software automatically". Lastly, click Finish.)
- Next, going back to the contents of the CD, double-click the TEMPer V8.3 folder. Then, double-click setup.exe. Again, click 'Run' when it warns you about Unknown Publishers. Follow any prompts on-screen.
- An icon will appear on your desktop when the installation is finished. From within this program, you can adjust settings such as Fahrenheit or Celsius display, temperature alert limit, interval, and email setup.
